Biography

Having spent the later years of my childhood in New Zealand, I began studying music production at the University of Auckland before moving back to England to pursue audio production on a more serious level. Since moving, I have completed an honours degree at The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford, for which I received a first in sound production. Exposure to that fastidious environment enabled me to properly fine-tune my ears towards focused listening, exposing the perfectionist within me and drawing me to the meticulous realm of audio post-production.

I now work independently as a freelancer, working in both production sound and post-production sound, where I specialise in dialogue editing and mixing. Working freelance gives me the flexibility to explore different industries, adapt to various challenges, and continuously learn new things. I’m always excited to take on new projects that push my boundaries and help me grow as a professional.

When I’m not stuck in on editing dialogue, I love to watch a big feature film. the incredible music and audio work done by those at the top of their field is addicting to listen to and inspires me to keep working harder and harder. Recent favourites include Dune and Ford vs Ferrari (those racing scenes sound INCREDIBLE). Outside of film and music, I enjoy good food and good company. I’ll never say no to a nice scenic walk.
